RALEIGH, NC (January 12, 2018) — EmployUs announced today several key company announcements. During 2017, EmployUs secured funding from ten Fortune 1000 companies, added two HR Tech and staffing industry veterans to its leadership team.

Engage Ventures decided to invest in EmployUs because of the collective needs of their limited partners to recruit and retain the best talent for their organizations, who collectively employ more than 1.3 million people. The limited partners of Engage Ventures are AT&T, Delta, UPS, Home Depot, COX Enterprises, Chick-Fil-A, Invesco, Georgia Pacific, Georgia Power, and the Intercontinental Exchange.
Employee referrals are the number one best source for quality hires, but many companies struggle to run a high-performing employee referral program. HR Tech & Staffing Industry Veterans Join EmployUs Leadership Team
EmployUs ended 2017 by adding two key members, Debbie Brown and Amanda Carr, to its leadership team bringing with decades of experience in the HR tech and staffing industries from companies like PeopleFluent, SAP FieldGlass, Adecco and Randstad. They join David Gardner, GP of Cofounders Capital and the Founder of PeopleFluent, in addition to the three EmployUs founders, Ryan O'Donnell, Jeff Stocks, & Matt Cotter.
Debbie Brown joined EmployUs as Chief Customer Officer.
Debbie Brown has spent her career at the intersection of software and recruiting. Most notably, she was the EVP of Professional Services at FieldGlass, prior to their acquisition by SAP, and held several leadership positions at the world’s largest staffing firms included Adecco and Randstad. Prior to joining EmployUs, she was the CEO of a private-equity backed healthcare staffing firm, which she lead to a successful acquisition. Ryan O’Donnell, CEO & Co-Founder, says, “Our board decided to hire Debbie based on her proven track record helping staffing firms and enterprise software providers scale their customer base.” By joining the EmployUs leadership team, Debbie will direct all sales and customer success activities to ensure our enterprise customer base receives the highest quality of service.
Amanda Carr joined EmployUs as VP of Product & Integrations.
Amanda Carr has deep domain knowledge in the Applicant Tracking System industry as one of the founding team members of PeopleClick, which rebranded to PeopleFluent following their acquisition. She held numerous roles at PeopleClick where she oversaw all product strategy, integrations, and quality assurance services. Following PeopleClick, she held leadership roles at Talemetry, Atlas Certified, and HRNX. As a founding member of the HR Open Standards Consortium, Amanda has been an early and persistent advocate for technology standards in the HR technology industry and her expertise will ensure EmployUs continues to offer our clients and partners with an industry leading integration platform.
